Lydia McNulty and Lily Kneen from Stagecoach Walton are travelling 400 miles up to Newcastle

Lydia McNulty and Lily Kneen from Stagecoach Walton are travelling 400 miles up to Newcastle to take part in the prestigious Great North Run, all in aid of InterAct.

Since signing up for the run the girls have been training very hard, and both are looking forward to the big day.

On 17th September 2011 the girls will join an estimated 5,000 runners (including a host of celebrities) to take part in the Junior Great North Run, which begins at the Newcastle Gateshead Quayside. The girls will be running 4km and highlights from the event will be broadcast on BBC1 the following day.
